The Optiparts 20 mm black anodised aluminium 60 cm tiller extension for Optimist, is fitted with a special x-gripped tubing (heat shrinkable), named “Doppio” and the classic Optiparts releasable joint with rope core.

Doppio means ‘double’ in Italian and indicates not only the double colour (Black and Red) of the tubing, but also stands for "double grip" given by the raised red X-pattern.
